No transport provider was available for delivery

Just setting up 5.5 and Outlook 2000. When I attempt to send myself a message to test, a get a no-delivery message with "no transport provider was available for delivery to this receipient". I have checked my setup and don't find anything wrong, but obviously I have missed something. Do I have to register with DNS via my ISP?
 
Check the recipient - was it set as SMTP? It probably details the recipient as CCMAIL or something odd.
 
We have found this to happen when a Microsoft Outlook user set up as a pop user. I dont know if this is the situation in your case, but there are a few things you can check:
Check your email and reply addresses in your profile are the same. Also check that the delivery option is set to "Personal Folder". Normally when you recreate the profile, it works aswell.
