Has anyone had any problems with MICS XC5.0, in this case WI6.02, with a loss of talk path on various sets? The sets are completely normal in all other respects, but no talk path & no handsfree, but the set can be called and make calls out. The display is normal for date & time or message indication, Actually the message indication updates if voicemail is cleared.
Disabling the port doesn't work, and unplugging & resetting has no effect. The only resolution to date has been to change the set to a different port, or swap it with another working set. Both sets come up working. Restore the sets to their original locations. Then, voila!!! A.O.K..
Both of the systems are a little over a year old.
The trouble has not been limited. I have had sets go crazy on the core ports and various expansion modules. This has me scratching my head, since I fix one and a few days later the same trouble shows up on a different set, different port.
So I thought I better ask the experts before I go to ITAS. Any thoughts?
