No subreport without data in main report 1

My report and subreport are not based on the same data set but the record selection is based on the same parameter field. Depending on the value chosen in the param. field, if there is no match in the main report data set, we can't see the results of the subreport where is a match in that data set, unless we double-click on the report footer section that include the subreport. I don't want to double-click because in reality I have 13 subreports in the whole thing.

One solution is to make the main report an empty shell that doesn't print anything and have it include records from all subreports (to be sure that there are records in the main report).

Of course, your real main report now becomes the first subreport. Ken Hamady
