No stutter dial tone on remote access line?? 1

Hello all, I have just put a legend r.7(remote) in and networked it with a magix r2.(main). trying to gain access to the remote site to tweak & label stuff. I have renumberd system and have 2 analog lines, 825,826. sysprog>l&t>remot>lines>825 & 826> dedicated both. (I only need 1, but cant get to work)
set barrier code for sysprog,length, code enty.
unrestricted (for now)

No stutter when i dial in.

What am i doing wrong??

You called it dead on. I put in a 400 card and bam! stutter dial tone.
How will this effect the link-up with the Magix? How many ttr's do i need? I only have 8 telephones.
