I think that's normal on a BCM 200 - the SSM's work a little differently between the 200 and 400/1000 units. I've seen that before, and just checked my lab system and it's saying the same thing.
biv343,
Thanks, great to hear that from someone else. This is a system that died and I replaced the MSC card.
If there is a correct way to bring this thing up, I am not using it. Any suggestions on bringing this thing up?
I don't care about programming, dn length, etc. Just want to start it correctly.
A star for going out of your way and testin.
There is a guide that come with the MSC FRU kit - I was trying to find that instruction guide, but I'm not having any luck. There was a series of steps to run through to perform the swap (quite a bit of CLI items, batch files to run, etc).
If you don't have that guide I can dig deeper and try to find it.
