No Spell checking and Grammar 1

I am running Win2k and MS office 97. The problem is that in MS Word my spellchecker is not listed in the tools menu. When I press F7 to do a spell check nothing happends. The same with the Spellcheck icon. Excel and powerpoint spell check are both working fine.
But when I log in as administrator on the machine the spellchecker in word works fine.

Have you tried deleting normal.dot? I've found that it tends to be the root of most problems like this one.

This is because the user does not have permissions to the proofing registry keys. Check out the following Microsoft article:

I've tried following the above procedure, but my registry is missing spelling in the proofing tools completely. Where can I download them from, please?
