no sound on imported quicktime video

I hope this question is just so basic that everyone knows the answer, but I just started using flash so I don't know.

How do I get the sound to play on an imported Quicktime video in a Flash movie? I imported the QT video, put it on the timeline with the correct number of frames, I see it on the stage, and I play it, but... no sound plays!

Please help me.

Yep,

Flash uses sound differently than quicktime. If possible, cut the sound out of the quicktime movie, then re-import it into the flash movie. If there's a better way, I don't know it, but would like to. I had the same problem, and this is all I could do.
