Hi all,

I have a problem with my ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro TV Tuner. It usually works perfectly, but since I formatted my computer 3 days ago, I can't get any sound on it.

All my drivers are up to date, my sound is working for everything else. The video cable is connected to my sound card. Well, I really can't see what's happening.

Here's my configuration:

Motherboard: Asus CUSL2
Proc: PIII 733MHz
Mem: 256Mb SDRam PC133
Video: ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro (IRQ11)
Sound: SB Live Value (IRQ9 shared with modem and both LAN cards, it's always been like that but it used to work b4)
LAN+Modem: 10/100PCI - 10PCI - 56K
IDE: DVD16x - CD.RW 12.10.32 - 3½ - Master 30Gb 7200rpm - Slave 40Gb 7200rpm
OS: MS Windows XP

Thanks for your help,

Simo

Double check the patch cable from your video to the sound
card (sound out). Also make sure there is a volume control setup for it.

As I said before, the cable is well connected. The volume control is Ok... I really tried everything I could think of, and can't find the problem... :S Motherboard: Asus CUSL2

go to setup on ur ati tv tuner program, go through the initialization wizard, and on da way, choose your input. it sud be line in or mic. try that out. i have da ati all in wonder radeon and that is how u do it for that, im not sure for da 128 pro. the best of luck to ya

evildoughboi, thx for your answer, but I had already did that, and tried ALL the input sources (it's usually on CD Audio), but it didn't work.

I send an e-mail to te ATI tech support, but they keep sending me back the auto response saying to check the FAQ, wich I already did, with no success...

Does anyone know how we can actually reach the ATI support. I only receive auto-responses either when sending from the online form or when sending an e-mail to support@ati.com.

Thanks all for your answers,

LOL, yeh, the ATI help is a joke! I've been having a problem with my sound with my ATI TV WONDER; it keeps kicking in and out when i switch channels. Something I found weird were the drivers in device manager. Every once in a while, one of them will have a yellow exclamation mark, meaning it is not running properly, so I reinstall that driver, reboot, and its good again. Then a little while later I check and low and behold its back again. I assume this would be a potential cause of my lousy sound. You might wanna check your drivers to see how they are doing too. ~Apex1x
