I attempted to get sound from Firefox 5.0 and Windows Explorer(64)and not getting any sound. My Realtek HD Audio Manager has sound. The "Sound" catagory in the Control Panel under "sounds" for Program Events does not have any sound. Under "Speakers Properties", "Advanced Mode" the setting is 24 bit, 44100Hz(Studio Quality) and the test works. Cyberlink Power DVD 8 has sound but Windows Media does not.

I am running Windows Professional 7 (64 bit)

Hold all advice. By some dumb luck on my part, I got my sound back on all systems.
