NO
If a call goes straight to reciever, the call is just fine. But if the caller is placed in queue and gets the queue announcement the sound is gone when the reciever picks up the call. Without the announcements it works fine.
What is the problem here.

Hello,

We had the issue.

Are you using a SIP Trunk ?

We disables the G729 codec and everything is working fine now.
I think the IPOffice change the codec when the announcement is played and when the annoucement stops, the IPOffice can't go back to the other codec.

Which version?
There is a 7.0 version (if i am correctly) where this happened.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Hi
Yes, I use SIP trunk, And only codec "G.711 ALAW 64K" The other codec is in the "available codecs" box and in the "unused codec selection" box. The only codec in the "selected" box is G.711 ALAW 64K

System software is 8.1(52)

I found the problem...

Under: System->LAN2->VoIP-> there is something called "Keepalives" Here I changed "Scope" to RTP and "Initial keepalives" to Enabled.

Then the sound was loud and clear in both ends... [bigsmile]

Nice, good job.
