Hi,

I installed Goldmine 6.5 singlue user edition and am having some problems when I try to customize anything -

1. When I got to File -> Confirgure I don't see any "Record Type Administration Center", I do see a "custom fields" but when I click it I get a message "you do not have Security Access to this option" yet I am using the original account I created when I installed the software that should have administrator powers?

I also noticed strangely that when I use the Quickstart Qizard, several of the button in the middle are greyed out as if I can't access them.

Does anybody know what's going on?

Thanks!

Hey,

I figured it out - for some reason when I installed the software it didn't give the default user I created master rights. I ended up calling FrontRange and thankfully they helped without charging me for an support "incident" - They told me to login in with login "MASTER
" and password "Access" (it is recommended admins change this default password) which I guess is the default backdoor entry to get into the program. I didn't see this explained in the setup instructions which is kind of weird, but problem solved and now I hope others who have the same problem can read this!
