no scrollbars for the very first page 1

How do you set no scrolling or scrollbars for the index.html page? As in when it's first loaded? Thanx

Just don't make it tall enough to need them, and in theory, (and I stress theory) no scrollbars should appear...

sometimes not the case in a frameset -- but that's another thread --

 
I think it's scroll="no" in the body tag - something like this anyway. But Yes, you need to make ir the right size - or stuff will be hidden.

Bangers is correct: scroll="no"
however the page height and width
are almost subjective matters
today we design for 800 (mostly?) and 1200
and if we really want to deal with the problem
a little JS will do fine in defining the user's resolution.

as you know a lateral scroll is a real no no
