no SAVE FOR WEB option

hello everyone,

i found this rather curious and no idea why there is no "SAVE FOR WEB" option available to select. well, i see it there but the only options avalable to select and highlighted are SAVE and SAVE AS. while i have used this function many other times, it was on my PC and this is actually my first time sitting down to do some work on my mac. i am a new mac user running OS X tiger. The jpg is in RGB. also, if it makes a difference, im running Photoshop CS not CS2

please help!

no idea. all i know is that while running windows, it appeared that i was doing everything in photoshop, without opening image ready manualy. also, ive just noticed something else though...i dont see liquify in the filters column. all i know is that on my old PC, it had a whole whack of options and now its down to 6.

Something I read in another forum suggested making sure you have a browser named in your browser list in order to use that option directly from PS, or trash the SFW preferences and try again.
