No ringtone on off-net forwarded call

Hi,
This is a Definity Prologix release V6i.03.1.230.8
An incoming DDI is directed to an X-Port extension with a cover path to a cover remote destination.

The forward works fine, but the caller does not hear any tones while the call progresses, just silence.

Also tried intercepting the incoming DDI in the trunk incoming destination and placing the external number there.
( delete all inset 9 + number )
Again, the forward works OK, but no ringtone to the caller.

Any ideas anyone please?

Does the pbx have tn2182B tone clock or tn744E call classifier hardware?

Hi Brett,
Yes we have a TN2182B, but no Classifier.
I have already checked the sys cov settings and they are all OK.

I have got it working now, but with a bit of a work-around.
Created a 2500 set and made it abridged app to the Btn 1 on the X-Port 6408 DDI target.

Not sure why this fixed it, as I would expect the call to leave Btn 1 call-app as soon as the cov p kicks in.
Cov p is set to all - all on internal and external calls.
