no ring on transfer to cell phone number 1

i have ipo 500 and IPM 6.1. i setup an extension and done forwarding to cell phone #. it all works but when i dial the extension it does not ring stays silent as if the number is not in service.

i dont have any physical phone connected on that extension.

is there something any setting i need to do in order to hear a ring while forwarding?

 
try enablign annoucments for the user extension

Thanks MandyDroid. that worked for me.

The onlything now is i how 2 ARS 50-MainCo and 51-CoB when the # shows on the callerid i get ARS 50-MainCo # displayed but i want to display 51-CoB.

in the users ShortCodes-> LineGroupID i set it as 51 but no luck.

any idea?

 
got this working. ended up adding shortcode that will use different dialing method.

 
in my shortcode i was using 9N which was going through my main # and i added a 8N shortcode and selected the correct ARS in LineGroup ID.

and in the users call forwarding insted of 91 & the number i am using 81 & the number.
