I'll try to make this short, sweet and to the point. Any help/suggestions would greatly be appreciated:
1. My company moved last week from LOC A to LOC B, same city.
2. LOC A switch is a Lucent ProLogix G3 system, LOC B switch is a Fujitsu F9600.
3. We are currently fowarding LOC A. handsets to LOC B handsets.
4. LOC A uses Worldcom DID range, which currently foward to LOC B ATT DID Range.
5. Our telecom vendor mapped a courtesy range of DID's we recieved from ATT on LOC B's switch to phantom extensions that mimic what our users had at Loc A, so x2500 at Loc A fowards to Loc B's x2500 (phantom extension mapped to a Real courtesy DID)
6. We fowarded all phones at Loc A to a relevant courtesy DID, pointing to LOC B's switch. It works!!
The issue is; the caller is not getting a ring back signal when calling any of the fowarded DID extensions, just dead air until someone at Loc B picks up the phone, or the number rolls into voicemail..
ANy sugegstions, comments, or even SOLUTIONS wouild be great.
Thank you!!
