Be careful as to what 'supplying ringback' means. In the SIP world, this can merely be a SIP message to the 3300 to tell it to provide the ringback locally.

If they are, then it's most likely in a format that the 3300 doesn't understand.

the carrier says they have one setting in their switch for ringack. They have a "Meta" switch. the setting is ......far end switch supplies ringback...yes or no. The carrier has it set for no currently. I have tried it both ways with no luck.

Then it sounds like you need to get a trace of the call, get the SIP notification message and confirm with Mitel whether or not they support it.

Remember, SIP is NOT a standard. There are more than one way to skin a cat....
