no RHS for LHS

I modified my local-host-names file and ran a makeap on it per the instuctions I have and got the following errors:

# makemap hash /etc/mail/local-host-names < /etc/mail/local-host-names
makemap: /etc/mail/local-host-names: line 2: no RHS for LHS nexus.qii.net

This is my local-host-names file:

# local-host-names - include all aliases for your machine here.
nexus.qii.net

Any suggestions? I haven't found anything about what is causing this.
