No response from Windows Explorer for folder or local drive property

Hello,

When I tried to get the property of a folder or local drive by right clicking the icon and selecting "property" in the subsequent drop down list, Windows Explorer simply does not response. However, it responses properly if I ask for the property of a file.

Did I forget to set some parameters when I install the Windows 2000 server?
