No response from d-channel upon activation

Hi, we're installing a new CS1000 4.5 with a TMDI built on slot 1 of the system. We're finding that when we enable the loop in slot 1, we never get a d-channel status message, one way or the other. We tried enabling the loop with a loop-back plug on the T and expected to get a 'Release Wrong Mode' message, we just get nothing. We've sent another TMDI card to site, it will be there in the morning. Just wanted to know if any of you had ever heard of something like that. We also get a DCH2040 message when we try to disable the d-channel to bounce the T-1. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Guys, I couldn't believe it but the TMDI (brand new)had an out of box failure. I overnighted another card last night, we popped it in and the PRI jumped into service. Appreciate your willingness to help.....
