Hello, all

have a problem with a intern PBX S0 (Ericsson BP 250, short bus,European standard, termination is switched on PBX card intern): outgoing calls (sending) is possible, incoming calls (with MSN) are signaled 1 or 2 times, but when picked up, line was not connected and then announcement comes: " ...this number were temporary not available...! ISDN cable Tester gives me no mistake for RX/TX connection over RJ 45 plug in.

Any idea? I am thinking of annother form of termination ? cable length between PBX and offices may be about 80-100 m.

Thanks for all advise.

regards
Martin

The termination and cable length are not the problem. If it were there is no way it would be dependent on the direction of the call. The problem is d channel signaling or line provisioning issue.

You need to get an ISDN protocol analyzer Layer 3 trace of the problem calls. If you don't have access to a protocol analyzer the PBX may have a limited ability to provide this. Or the Telco may be able to provide the log if you ask them nicely.

Some basic ISDN testers have a limited ability to do a protocol capture.

Once you make the capture post the text of it here.

good luck
