Is there any way to program a BCM 450 release 5.0 to insert the "9" so fax machines off of a GASM8 does not have to dial a "9"?
Thanks,

I have not had success in the past by doing that with a PRI. I have had no problems when doing it with Line pools. I have had to put a "Feature 78" in external portion of Hotline and give a prime line of pool A. So you have just left the prime line of the set as intercom and put a 9 in hotline. Seems like my problem with that was there was no dial tone when the "9" was in the hotline causing the fax not to work and act as if there was no dial tone supplied, when actually it had input the "9" and it was waiting on the digits to be dialed.
Any suggestions,

If you have the ability to add secondary dial tone (SDT) in the routing, then add 9 to it. This way when a caller presses 9, they will hear dial tone.

By doing this, the analog port "hotline fix" may get that dial tone you're looking for..
