I am trying to setup a NIC card in my SCO machine. The machine is running SCO OpenServer Release 5 Version 5.0.6. Yesterday I downloaded from Caldera’s ftp site and installed rs506a. I also downloaded the NIC drivers from the same site. The NIC is a 3com 3C905-TX. To install the drivers I went through the Software Manager and everything worked fine. I then went to Network Configuration Manager, Hardware, Add New LAN Adaptor and the NIC was listed. When I click on the card I get the following message “No Protocol Stacks Available on the System are Supported on This Device”.

Can someone tell me what is wrong with this and how I could fit it? Is there a 3com card that someone could recommend if the 3C905-tx is a bad choice?

Thank You
