In the network(WIN NT) I administer ,I have setup a HP 4100 Laserjet Black and white printer. It is a network printer connected on the server with a fiber optical.
The users have given commands for printing 8 hours ago to that specific printer. When I open the icon of priner the procedures are on.However the printer doesn't react at all.It has the sign that it is READY without proceed to printings. This situation has created a long queue of printing commands.

I changed the memory stickers without any luck.Should I delete the printer from the network and re-introduce it again?

Thank you in advance

Make sure the printer itself, is "on line". Try a test print from the Properties>Detail page.
Can you "ping" the printer?

You could check if there are any corrupt temp files in the printer spools folder, deleting all files in this folder can release the printer but you will lose all of the print jobs currently queued.
