No Print Preview

I have an Access 2000 Db with reports that until yesterday worked perfectly. I only have code behind two of the dozen or so reports. This code formats the background color in the detail section, but it is not new code. Now I can only open the design view of the reports but not print preview. When I try the print preview the screen flashes once as though the report is going to open in print preview but it only reappears in design view. Needless to say I can not print any reports.

I have confirmed a default printer is set, compacted/repaired the Db, and compiled the code.

Any ideas?
