no power to server proliant 6000

What happens when you connect the power cords? Do the power supplies blink in a particular way (e.g. 10x flash green, 1x flash amber) ?
Could be an interlock problem. Some older proliants had an interlock on the chassis - if the panels were not in place, the server wouldn't power up.
It might also be that some boards/processors are not correctly seated.
