No power/ no light/mo work on 400 card.

I installed a 5 slot carrier this weekend and add a 400 card. The install went fairly good however I can not get the 400 card to work on light at all. I tried putting it in slots 1-3 with no change. The card is seated well. I can not get to the power plug on the carrier because it is mounted next to the wall. I added the 4 line onto the system and set them to auto answer. When I call the phone numbers I get ring no answer. Any ideas? Is it more than likely a bad card?

The only other card that is the processor which is a 308 with a pc voicemail. It is in the center and is funtioning fine. There are no other cards.

It was new (card) I order a new one last night. Should be here in two days. It maybe a problem with the 5 slot carrier because it was used. I will keep you posted thanks for your help.



p.s. Do you know if I can take the power cord off the carrier and use it to power the 400 card to see if I get a light?
