I have been using windows XP pro for the last few months with no problems. I have service pack 1, and all available windows updates. I recently went out and bought a logitech mx700 wireless mouse (best you can get) and attached it to my USB port. I'm also using a USB keyboard. Since that change, my computer refuses to power down my monitor and even go to a screensaver. My monitor powers down correctly when the system is off, so I know it is capable. I have experimented extensively with my display properties-> screensaver/power options to no avail. I have also downloaded and installed the latest version of Mouseware from Logitech. Is my new mouse at fault? Here are my system specs:
-AMD Athlon XP 2100
-256 DDR
-GeForce 4 TI 4200 (gainward)
-Abit KG7 Raid Mobo
-Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 71 17" CRT
