no port for external modem

i need help
there is no port to plug an external modem into on the back of my compaq presario 7470. how do i install a port? what do i need? please give me a step by step process for this. the machine now has an internal modem, and i do not like these kinds of modems, have never had any luck with them.
i have done internet search for this kind of instruction, but no luck.
so please help me.

You have no com port? You can use a USB modem, which will save you some hassle.
