No Policies

I am runing Checkpoint management console fw1 NG FP2 on WINNT workstation 4. (firewall is Nokia platform)

The machine crashed (blue screen) and since I cannot load the policy into the editor. (Grey blank box where rules should be). all the objects all load ok.

When I select open policy there are none even though I have plenty .W files in the conf dir.

I can view the installed policy on the firewall but not edit, how can I recrate the policy or retreive it from the firewalls?

I had exactly the same problem. Turned out that I was using an admin account that didn't have rights to view the security policy ;-)

Just a thought.
