Soundblaster PCI 512 is recognized by Win98 but no playback device can be found. I've reinstalled drivers, tried another sound card, removed software and drivers from registry and reinstalled software and drivers, put sound card in different slots, and pulled everything out of the PC except sound card and video card and had same problem. I updated the Via motherboard drivers. I have the latest bios revision. I also disabled plug n play in the bios, and that didn't work either. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
