no picture

When I add a picture to my document nothing shows up but a huge textbox. it's so huge that I can't even see the corners of it... There is no picture in it. I've tried 'fit to frame', scaling etc... but still no picture... I havn't had a problem with any other pictures. And the picture itself is rather small , so the huge textbox doesn't make sense. I've tried some different imagefiles; bmp, tff... but no difference... any ideas?

Looks like it's loading the code for the image, rather than the image itself.

How are you converting it to other formats? Are you just changing the extension?
