so does any one know if a panasonic TDA200/TVA200 can do remote call forwarding with full 10 digit DNIS delivery?

if it can do forwarding will we loose the DNIS?

my system is currently sending calls to an answering service, when all of our lines are locked. But we want it to forward if all extensions in a group are busy or no answer.

can our system do that

yes a group can be set to forward calls to an outside number when busy or no answer

your problem is will it keep the DNIS opperation

this is possible with a PRI line as long as the number being dialed is a number on the pri
to do this
set up flexable numbering table to 4 digit, and program an extension to match the last 4 digits of the number being dialed
ie: if your inbound gouup rings when a caller dials 0945563345 then set a flexable number range as 33xx
now create a single extension up with ext no:3345
program its outbound number as 0945563345
finally setup the extension to forward all calls to the outside destination.
put a group forward to ext 3345 on b/no answer from your incomming group (dont forget to allow grp fwd in class of service settings.)so calls to the incomming grp will overflow to the extension and be forwarded to the destination and keep the DNIS.
i am sorry i dont know if it will work on POTS lines in your contry but if you are in ireland there is no chance as your lucky here if you can get caller ID. ha ha.unless you have a number of pots lines all showing the same CLOP that can be arranged with your service provider (pots lines over here dont have any services like they do in the states so we dont use them.
