I installed office 2000 premium on my PC. There was already windows ME installed.

Now it seems there is no personal address book ?

When I click in my addressbook I only see "contacts" en when I click on "new" I can not create a "newe folder"?

Please help,

Erik

Erik, PABs are only available on CW (corporate workgroup) installations and not on IMO (internet mail only) installations. At home, most of us use IMO. We only need one contact list. If you want to differentiate your contacts, you could create a subfolder, but it's best to use the Categories field in your contacts.

The contacts folder at work (CW) are generally everyone in the company and is managed by a mail administrator and your PAB is just yours and no one else in the company can see them--that's why they're different.

To determine what kind of installation you have, just hit Help-About Outlook, and it will say CW or IMO.

Hope this helps! techsupportgirl@home.com
