i have rhd7.1 who export /mnt/cdrom to rhd7.2.
the server rhd7.1's file /etc/export is:
/mnt/cdrom IP_of_rhd7.2/32(ro)

i tape in the client :
#mount -t nfs ip_ofserver_rdh7.1:/mnt/cdrom /mnt/nfs
i get:
mount: ip_ofserver_rdh7.1:/mnt/cdrom failed, reason given by server: You have no Permission

both in client/server i am root user !!
when i try it with /etc/ or /tmp i ewport it with success!

where is the problem?

in the /etc/fstab i have:
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro 0 0

Hi,

By default you can't do that as root for security reasons. You have to set the option no_root_squash in the /etc/exports file :

/mnt/cdrom 10.0.0.1(ro,no_root_squash)

Hope this helps

I have now exactelly the same line in my /etc/exports (with the good ip)

/mnt/cdrom 10.0.0.1(ro,no_root_squash)

But always having
mount: 192.168.1.122:/mnt/cdrom failed, reason given by server: have not Permission

I am really lost :-(

Have you restarted the nfs-system after you modified the export file?
