No PDM with WinXP on Pix501

PDM (ver 3.0) access via WindowsME is ok, access via WinXP gets stuck on PDM load screen.

I have seen this question asked before but could not find the fix.

Is this an XP setting, or do I need to configure the Pix differently for XP?

I had the exact same thing happen a few weeks back though it was a WIN2k Pro workstation. I uninstalled my java client and then reinstalled and it worked perfectly after that. The client I intalled was 1.3.1_04.

Yep. I also had this exact same problem. After I went to

http://www.sun.com

and downloaded the java client - everything worked fine.

You will also want to allow Popups from the PIX IP if you have SP2 installed on XP.

Thank you all. It was in fact a Java issue. With XP and the new Java client installed, I notice that I now have to supply the Name/Password twice... once before the java screen comes up, and once after. I had visions of a spyware program asking me for PW info to send back to the mother ship. It is still an irritation. Have you who have had the Java problem also had this occur?
