I have created a report which is working perfecyly OK apart from not having and Page Header details on Page 2. It is a 23 page report and only Page 2 is missing.

It consists of a calls history report grouped by Day then by Hour. Nothing is suppressed, it is all pretty much default settings. The Page footers are correct and they show Page N of M.

How do I get a header on page 2??

Do you have page header on page 1?

Is your report header bigger than one page, if that rolls over to page two page header may not start until page 3.

Do you have any suppression on page header.

Look in section expert and formula for section suppression.

Thanks for the reply. This is where I start to feel a bit silly.

I did have a suppression formula for page 2 in the Section Expert, but as the Suppression box was not checked, I missed the formula section.

Logically I would not expect any formula to be acted upon, unless the corresponding box was checked. However I am still getting to grips with the fact that CR is not always logical!!

Thanks

Pete

The check in the box does not mean the section formula applies. The check suppresses the section, however, it is ignored if there is a formula hence your problem.

No need to feel silly, everyone has to start somewhere, keep asking questions and you will soon be an expert!

Good luck

Ian
