I have recently installed W2K server with all SPs to a server. It was working fine for a week or so, then a power surge hit us. All our production servers are up and running. But the new test server boots up but shows no desktop. I booted into SafeMode and it seems fine. I have read and tried KB256194 but it did not work. Any ideas?
