I ran into a computer running PowerPoint 2000 SR-2 that doesn't have the option of saving as html, not on the file menu, not on the file types inside the save box.

any ideas or explanations?

Thanks! [sig]
Dumboy.! Ouch.! .my brain.....
spiderdesign@yahoo.com

It's hard to think with only one neuron......Ouch.....!....it hurts when I think......![/sig]

The software probably needs to be reinstalled - it should be a standard option under the file menu to publish to the web - it's not called save as, it actually says save as web page. Try double clicking on the word file - sometimes people have it set to minimal menus and when you double click on the item (file) on the text menu it will open up the full menu. [sig][/sig]

With Office2000, the most common menu functions are shown. Ones that haven't been used are hidden. There should be an arrow at the bottom of the file menu. If you hover over or click on the arrow, it will expand showing all available options. Just a thought.
