no of emails sent and received

hi all

i have just had a department manager come to me asking if i can give him the number of emails a person has sent and received since december 2002.

i am not sure that this is possible or not as i cant find anything anywhere, if this person has deleted his mails does groupwise still keep a record of the number?

The only thing that I could think of is using frequent contacts. You can set this to regeister all incoming and outgoing messages and it makes a note of them..
