no network icon on desktop

good day.

i installed suse 9.3 with no problem. unfirtunately, i cant see the network icon on the desktop(on the suse 9.1 i use the network icon on the desktop to connect to the other pc on the network,windows os)
how can i display the network icon?

thanks.
