Hi all,

I have a quirky problem on my Windows 2003 server. I have set up the IP's, renamed the NICs and when I go to sort the bind order in the Network Advanced settings I do not see those said NICs. All I see is Remote Connections but when I do ipconfig I can see the IP's set and also am able to ping the server. The server is functioning properly but I just cannot sort the bind order out.

There is another almost identical server, same hardware, same NICs, same NIC drivers and on that server I can sort the bind order.

any suggestions would be most welcome

thanks

I've had problems with binding order when one or more core windows services is disabled or stopped... Server, Workstation, Print Spooler, Computer Browser.

Verify that drivers for NICs are up to date.

Reboot box.
