After "pushing" the 9.0 upgrade of SAV (Corporate) to clients the icon in the sys tray is no longer visible. How can I get this to reappear w/o reinstalling SAV to each machine. Thanks for your help.
From your SSC console, right click on the parent server and select All Tasks -> Symantec Anti-Virus -> Client Administrator Only Options.
Make sure "Show Symantec AntiVirus icon on desktop" is checked. Next time the client updates its options from the server, the systray icon should return.
Thanks for the info jkupski, I found this out just before you posted. So do I just have to wait for a virus def. update or something so it will show up to all of the clients?
