Hi ppl.
I have a report called "rptLetter".

The file below shows how I have arranged it in design view and also my relationship is in the attachment below.

The problem is that when I view the report in "Print Preview" mode, all transactions & all recievers are NOT displayed, just one of each.

Does any1 know how to automatically view all the recievers (customer contacts) and move the transactions down?

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Abhi

You see that the Detail Section of a report prints once for each row of the Row Source property which is your table or query that drives the report. If you want to see all of the Receivers and then see all of the Transactions you should change the structure of the report to have two subforms. They should not be placed in the Detail section but in the one of your Headers so that it only prints once.

Look up subforms for reports in ACCESS help and they should walk you through the process pretty well. Bob Scriver

Hi ppl & scriverb,

I'm having a little problem.

I made a new query (linked to tblCustomerContact) and linked this query to a report called "rptCustomerContact".

I then used this report as a subform to my original report ("rptLetter") but when I type a certain customer's ID, I want ONLY their contacts (CustomerContact) to be visible in the subreport, not all of customercontacts from tblCustomerContact (that's my problem).

Does any1 know how to solve this
I think the Report Wizard might do it but I'm not sure.
Many thanks,

Abhi

The Receivers and Transactions subforms can be linked to your main form record source by using the properties of the Main Forms subform control properties. Open the Properties window of the Receivers subform control. Not the subform itself. There are two properties at the top called Link Child Field and Link Master Field. Click the Build button of the Link Child Field and a window will appear that let's you connect the fields between your master forms record source and the record source of the subform together. You should do the same thing for the Transactions subform control.

Let me know how this works for you. Bob Scriver
