No MOH on merlin 1030

My merlin 1030 has a service module B. For some reason, the music on hold does not function. The volume is up, and I have tried it with the hi/lo switch in both positions.

First of all, I'd like to know if it ever worked for you? Secondly, check the programming for M.O.H. in system programming. I believe you need to allow it as well as set the volume through programming. Good Luck... Tony Misiak (Tony the Phoneman)

It never did seem to work. Is there a way to adjust it through system programming???

What are you using as the source? I seem to recall that you can't drive it from the earphone/headphone level of a boom box, but need a higher level speaker output.

If you have a test (butt) set you can pull the cable from the moh port and put your butt set leads on the end of cable and hear if there is any music from the source. If you do, then the problem is in the phone system. If you don't, then the problem is in the moh cable or the music source. Good luck... Tony Misiak (Tony the Phoneman)

I have tried testing it by plugging it into the speakers, and it works. Is there a way to turn it on from administration mode??

there is not an adapter to turn the 8 conducter page port into rca plugs, is there??
