no MEW

hi,
i found a prob in my system, that, MEW button programmed on digital telephones, but even after sending the voice messages to the mail boxes, the key is not blinking.

here is one testing extn details

I set the message waiting indication check box in the onebox server. please guide me to rectify this

Check that ICFUP; is set MWF = ALL.
(ICFUC:IFCIND=,MWF=ALL;)

In the OneBox set the Messaging Waiting period down from 3600 to 240 seconds ith the Integrations tab.
(If you are using OneBox 4.2 (AVST 7.90 or 7.92).

I am using MX-One messaging Voice Mail Version 7.9 Build 256 Service Pack 1
Connection type is TCP/IP
 
In the Configuration Module of the "MX-One messaging Voice Mail Version 7.90 Build 256 Service Pack 1" aka OneBox 4.1, you should change the MWI subscription period from 3600 to 240 seconds. Then it works alright.

If you tick the box in a Onebox mailbox to light the MEW on the handset as a test, does it light the MEW? if you do STDNI on ILNP do you see the MEW come into the TSW?

sorry for delayed reply.

i found and it is already 240.

mx-one messaging voicemail system configuration -> integration -> ericsson mx-one/md110IP -> edit -> message waiting settings -> pause between MWI = 240. I hope you are talking about this settings.

one more thing i noticed is, if i press the MEW key on the phone,nothing happens. I mean, it is not dialing the voicemail group number (5555), but i can see it is MEW key.

Try to light an extension MEW from a mailbox in onebox, there is a box you can tick to send MEW within the mailbox config.

send us the trace result, this will tell you if the Onebox is not sending the MEW or a problem in TSW.

I enabled the MWI in onebox: administration -> subscriber mail box -> features -> MWI : both "set primary extn MWI" and "current MWI". And also I started "Immediate message notification" feature in "Message Notification" tab. and then I send a voice message to the extension 5756.

oh yes, i got the clue.

This set up was an upload of PC-Regen from a MD110BC12SP2 system to the new MX-1 TSWSP7. so same like i had problems with the CDR, the voicemail setup is also creating problems.

Can somebody tell me how to remove the old setup of voicemail, and to create it new.
