No messages in Advertisement Status

Ouch!!

I'm not getting any messages from my advertisement status anymore. When I create an advertisement I can watch the workings in advertisement status. I'm showing results in received, failures, started, and successes, but no messages can be viewed on the client audits. Component status and system status have all green check marks. I can still retrieve messages from previous advertisements but all new message retrievals I get the following error message:

An error occurred reading status messages

Error Code = 1112017920
Error Text = SMS_StatusMessage

Further processings has been stopped

I'll continue chasing the rabbit on this but any help on this matter would be appreciated.

I changed the properties of the Status Filter Rule: Write audit messages to the site database and keep them for 180 days and changed it to 90 days. I'm thinking that the audit messages are reducing the size of my site database. We'll see...

Can't tell you how it fixed the problem, but a reboot of the Site Server allowed the status messages to be retrieved from the Site Database.

I'm back in business again.
