No mailbox in Exchange 2003 Enterprise?

I created an account with mailbox in AD on Exchange 2003 Enterprise, but the mailbox does not show in ESM, nor does it show in the GAL, and so I cannot configure Outlook for the end user.

This just started happening this morning. I've tried rebuilding the RUS and restarting the System Attendent Service, but to no avail.

There were two Windows updates applied over the weekend; I'll uninstall those and see if it resolves my dilema. In the meantime, does anyone have any insight on this?

How long after rebuilding the RUS did you wait? Did you try sending a test message to it? Are the email addresses visible on the account in ADUC?

login to OWA with that newly created account. That forces Exchange to build the mailbox for the user.
