No mail from Exchange unless clicking send/recieve

Afternoon all...

Exchange 2003/Outlook 2003 client

I have a user who only recieves her mail after clicking send/receive. No mail comes through unles she does this.
For other users it's the usual process, mail arrives when it becomes available.
All connections to the servers are good, user profile is good. Network connections are fine, as would be expected when all other users are recieving in time.

Any pointers as to where I might look would be greatly appreciated.

Does she have a Windows firewall turned on that's blocking UDP packets?

Windows Firewall was on... strange as we have a GP that turns it off. It's now off so will see if normal service is resumed. Never thought to look at that due to above but it just goes to show... simple checks first.

Turning Windows Firewall off did the trick. Mail is now arriving instantly.
