Guys,
I've went over the directions to connect a 5310 to the 5324 and searched the forums with out any luck. I am unable to get the 5310 to work. Does the 5324 require the side-car unit in order to function? If anyone has a 5310 attached to a 5324 please help.

Thanks

There should be a Conference Module that plugs into the back of the 5324. Here are the User Guide instructions:

Using the 5310 Conference Unit without a Mouse

Use the procedures below if you 5310 Conference Unit does not have a mouse attached. The 5324 IP Phone will activate the 5310 Conference Saucer when it detects that the Conference Module has been installed in the back of the phone.

Start a Conference
• Press SPEAKER key or just start dialing. Adjust the Conference Unit Volume
• Press Volume Up or Volume Down. Mute the Conference Unit
To mute the conference unit so that conversation in the meeting room cannot be heard by individuals being conferenced:
• Press (MUTE) on the phone.
Exit the Conference
• Hang up.

Yes, please tell us what method you are using to connect.

Include what hardware components are involved.

As SXwizard says above, you should be installing a module in the back of the phone.
